More nerdy info: Offered here is the probably the best on the market new ballpoint refill, the 575 / 75 standard that fits most vintage ballpoint pens. The designation 575 and 75 are the same. The refill features a blue waterproof ink, perfect for any job. Super high precision front ball-tip ensures no skipping and constant smooth writing. These are the so called "long slim metal refills", and these were the standard for most of the European brand pens for decades since the invention of the ballpoint pen. They are still used today on many new ballpoint pens. Keep in mind that there are very similar refills to these, identical in size and looks but with a wider front tip section, they are the 765 and 775, and these will not fit most vintage ballpoint pens. Nearly all European vintage ballpoint pens that use slim metal refills, Pelikan, Lamy, Montblanc, Reform, Rotring, Fend, Waterman, Kaweco, Senator, Diplomat, Aurora, CdA and many others use these refills with slim section tip.
If you are not sure if this refill fits your pen, please send us a Q via the form below, and describe your pen and model to us. The refill features a limiter where the pen's spring rests. On some vintage ballpoint pens due to long time of not using the pen, the spring may have lost some of its torsion force, so all you need to do to make it work again is to simply stretch the spring a bit by pulling it from both ends. After you place it back in the pen together with the new refill it should work like a charm. We offer this refill in blue, black and red colors. Depending on the density, typeface and spacing of your handwriting The refill will write for approximately 120-150 A4/Letterhead pages of average size handwriting (which is a lot). The image with different type of refills is given for size comparison.
