Pelikan M30/30 Rolled Gold Cap

Offered here is an original replacement cap for the Flagship 1960s Pelikan 30 (also referred to as M30) Rolled Gold Fountain Pen.
The cap is in mint condition, close to "as new", without dings, scratches, or any gold wear off. It is a complete standalone unit, ready to be used on a pen, complete with its gold filled clip and enamel filled crown logo. It also contains its inner sleeve which makes the pen "Airplane Safe" i.e. encloses the nib entirely so it can create and air-proof seal. It also contains its inner retaining and guiding ring, which serves to guide the pen inwards when closing. Unlike gold plate, the rolled gold will never wear off, it is meant to last, as it is a very thick layer of gold.
