CROSS Black Archival Ink
This ink is museum grade Archival ink made by Cross. The difference between regular inks and archival inks is that the latter is certified to be nearly chemically inert with the paper and fulfill many other requirements the regular inks do not have to. This ink in particular is certified and made per the ISO standards. Usually the archival inks are carbon based, and do not contain some chemicals the regular inks do. Therefore they are safe to us on labels that need to stay crisp and not fade for centuries, as well as for writing documents, or keeping records that also need to stand the test of time. These are safe to use with any fountain pen or they are often used even with dip nibs. The ink is NOS new old stock, made in 2016 and comes in its original packaging, never opened or used.
