One of the rarest and most beautiful desk pencil sharpeners by Faber Castell. The sharpener is in mint condition. This is the semi-automatic model, where the pencil when placed in the mouth of the sharpener, automatically retracts the pencil head inside while the lever is rotated. The mechanism and its sharping edges are very sharp making a perfect pencil tip. The mechanism is smooth and precise, no loose parts or squeaks. The best feature is the see-through green debris drawer. "Germany" inscription under the base. This item looks perfect on any desk, a true time capsule of the more simple and elegant times.
