This is a rare converter version for vintage Waterman Specific CF fountain pens, used only on Waterman pens from the 60s up until 80s/90s. These are not manufactured any longer and hence very difficult to locate. This converter will work with all CF pens, as well as many other Waterman fountain pens from that era. This converter is superior and easier to use than the standard push bladder converters from this era (shown on the last photo), which are bladder type converters with a rubber sac inside a metal barrel. The bladder converters using a rubber sac can lose their rubber elasticity over time and the rubber will become brittle, rendering the converter useless. As opposed to those, this piston converter does not require any maintenance and will work normally indefinitely as long as properly used. It has a small silicone cork inside the converter chamber, so it easily creates vacuum and can be easily filled with one simple pull. The converter is brown color, mint condition, ready to be used.
