Montblanc No. 38 & 28 Part
Offered here is an original lever mechanism for Montblanc No. 38 & 28 ballpoint pen models. This is a patented lever mechanism which at the time of production was marketed as the "11th finger" system, meant to turn the pen off automatically when hanged into a pocket. The lever can be activated with the finger simply by pushing it, however, the lever also passes under the clip, thus when hanged into a pocket, the fabric passing under the clip will automatically turn off the pen.
