Pelikan 400 Feed (1950s)
This feed is similar to that one of the 120/140 feed, but it's 3mm longer, despite having the same diameter. The difference/comparison between 120/140 feed and this 400 feed is shown on the last photo. This feed is original replacement unit in perfect condition made by Pelikan in the 1951-65 time span. Made out of ebonite, thus having much better ink handling characteristics than plastic. Vertical fin radiators. It provides for great ink-flow, does not react with the ink, thus reducing ink clogs and stains. Ebonite is the best material to make a feed from.
