Parker Duofold Coral Red Pencil

Material: Hard rubber, coral red. Gold filled front section and other metal parts

Condition and information:
The pencil offered here is one of the first Parker Duofold pencils, in the Coral red launched in 1923. The inscription on the top end states "Pat. Pending. Gold Filled." The pencil is in great condition, some signs of use, some surface micro scratches, but has no cracks. The mechanism is twist (screw on/off action) where the lead can be precisely deployed by the spiral. It functions perfectly with precision lead deployment. The mechanism is made out of brass and steel meant to endure work for years, as proven here by almost 90 years old pencil. The hard rubber body is very thick so it cannot crack or deform. The build quality is amazing. Made nearly 100 years ago, these are still some of the best pencil ever produced. The design is a Victorian era inspired, this is a movie piece antique pencil, classic looks. Perfect ergonomics, looks and design, and superb performance.
