Condition and information:
One of the rarest and most beautiful desk stands by Pelikan. These were made for a very short period in the mid 80's as a special addition to the newly launched M series. Originally intended for the tortoise green models, the stand will fit any two Pelikan pens, including the 140, 400's (including the N's & NN's) as well as all Souveran models and all M models. The base is tortoise green striped and it looks best with a tortoise green pen. The base is pictured with a M400 tortoise green pen from the 80's. The stand comes with its original ink, and has a the original matching metal/bronze cap. The two brass pen sockets have a plastic inner side similar to that of a pen's cap, meaning that a pen can be placed open in the socket and it wont leak inside or allow for the ink to dry. Also, the sockets are easily removable so they can be easily cleaned. The base is made out of high shine black resin with a bronze metal pats and gold plated sockets and trimmings, making it a very special and unique desk accessory.
