The pen offered here is high quality build Kaweco pen, with very ergonomic classic body style. The pen is the model 475 and fitted with rare solid steel ber-contra nib. The ber-contra is the name Kaweco gave to their steel nibs. This is tempered steel with decent flexibility and these nibs are considered to be great writers. Also such nibs are more difficult to damage even if the pen falls directly on the nib, so when produced were mainly marketed at the student population. The nib is flexible and will write up to B broad with little to no pressure. Very smooth on the paper non-scratchy nib. The pen has a great grip, handling, balance and feel in the hand. The pen is in mint condition with no cosmetic or functional defects what so ever, 100% originally preserved. All trimmings are gold plated. Very large and clear blue ink window. Piston works very smoothly. The pen is quite efficient, practical, easy to clean and maintain, well balanced, with astonishing nib, and very reliable and easy to handle, great everyday fountain pen.
