Condition and information:
The pen offered here is one of the rarest Montblanc Monte Rosa pens. These pens were made only for a very short period of time, and were a response to Parker's 51 enclosed/hooded nib pens. This pen features a removable front section with a simple unscrewing action, so the pen can be easily cleaned. The body is thicker by almost 1/3 of other Monte Rosa pens, thus making the pen very big with great amount of ink capacity. The nib is semi-flexible F size and with the gentle push will write bigger sizes. The nib has a iridium tip, one of the most durable elements, so the tip of the nib won't ware off even after decades of intensive writing. Beautiful elongated long light blue ink window, a very rare feature on any Montblanc pen. Made out of "black precious resin", the signature Montblanc material which gives the pen a unique shine but also a protection as this material is harder to scratch or damage. The pen cap is solid steel, matte finish, so the pen is very tough but elegant. Posted or not posted it has a perfect writing balance, grip, feel in the hand. The pen is in great condition with minimal sings of use, but no cracks, scratches or dings. One of the rarest Montblanc Monte Rosa Pens.
