Condition and information:
The Parker 45 model is one of the best known pens worldwide and one of the most successful models of the Parker Pen company. It was their first cartridge model, one that captured the hearts and souls of the people with a modern design. The pen was intended for the mid class pen market, but soon its popularity caught on so much that Parker started to produce high-end luxurious variations of it. There were dozens upon dozens variants of the Parker 45, made both in UK and USA. This model the mid class, made mostly in the UK from 60s onwards, fitted with original 14K gold nib, stamped "Made in England". The nib is extremely smooth, very precise, rated F, standing for Fine, but its very close to Extra fine. It is great for small letters writing such as in notebooks and even drawing. Surprisingly, the nib is not stiff, rather it is a soft nib with some decent flex to it, so the user can experiment while writing to produce wider lines. The pen can be used with any ink cartridge but also with ink converter, original one is included. The pen has a great grip and feel in the hand when posted due to the heavy cap. The pen is very easy to use, it does not dry, it's easy to fill from any bottled ink or with a new cartridge. It is also very easy to clean and maintain, completely disassemblable front section simply by unscrewing the nib. The Parker 45, hardly any pen had or ever will surpass the stunning looks, build quality, performance, ease of use and many more factors which make for a remarkable pen. The pen offered here is in mint condition, with no signs of use.
