Condition and information:
This is one of the best Pelikan pens of the 1970's, the MK20 line, also known as the Silvexa line. The Silvexa designation stands for any Pelikan pen of this era which had either silver or chrome plated parts or trimmings. The MK20 line is a class up from the MK10 line, these were considered one of the best at the time, affordable but made out of more refined materials such as the black resin and also featured a solid gold nib. The pens are stunning, both in look, appeal and quality. The set offered here is in NOS never used condition, still with nib sticker and their original presentation box. These are one of the most reliable and elegant Pelikan pens, extremely well build, meant to last and endure hard work for years, yet with great appeal. The fountain pen has a very beautiful clear see through purple ink window and a smooth piston. The nib is F, solid 14K gold, its also very thick very good for long demanding and hard work on any paper. Piston is one of the best piston systems invented by Pelikan, consisting of 8 parts and marketed by Pelikan as Airplane safe is it won't leak ink on pressure variations. The set features its original DK20 ballpoint pen with a precise push button mechanism. This series are very reliable, both pens work and write perfectly. Logo located on top of the cap. All in all, one of the best Pelikan pens of the 1970's.
