Pelikan had developed technical drawing / drafting and calligraphy writing instruments since 1934, they called it Graphos. These became much more popular with a soaring demand during and after WWII with the rapid development of the war industry. However one company was leading the innovation and dominating the market, Rotring, who developed the Tintenkuli and later Rapidogrph technical drawing pens. They dominated this market in the 1950s and 1960s. No wonder then, Pelikan acquired a 50% stake in Rotring in the early 1970s. And basically the Graphos was technically a product of Rotring, or at least a collaboration between the two and it bore the Pelikan name.
 
The set here is the 4th iteration of this technical drawing pen, called Technos, which is the successor of the original Graphos, Graphos GE1 and Graphos G2 all developed by Rotring, and there are exactly the same sets like these which bear the Rotring brand as well. The pen is basically the same as the MK line launched in the 1960s, with a transparent "demonstrator" cap. The set is full, and seems to never have been used.
