Condition and information:
One of the best and most recognizable Caran d'Ache pens, the original Ecridor Model by Caran d'Ache with Chevron pattern, very delicate, made in factory by hand, very crisp complex lines, giving the pens amazing appeal. The Ecridor by CdA is one of the longest produced models in the company's history, and probably in the pen history; running close to 60 years. The pens were first made in the early 60s and are still being made today, hardly changed with the similar design. The set offered here dates from the late 70s to early 80s. It's a true time capuse, never used, its been boxed since the day it was made. The set consists of the original Ecridor ballpoint with its original Goliath refill and the mechanical pencil with the then popular 1.18mm leads. Both push button mechanisms are very smooth, easy and precise. The inscription is located on the push buttons and the clips "Caran d'Ache + Swiss Made", "Fabr. Suisse". Made out of steel and silver plated, the pens simply shine, difficult to capture in photos. They are perfectly balanced writing instruments, heavy and tough, extremely well build, difficult to damage even if dropped, meant to last for generations. A timeless writing instruments by the best Swiss pen manufacturer.
