Condition and information:
One of the more rare Montblanc pens from the 70s, the briefly replaced line known as Chromatic. There were several pens from this line and era, most of them with the classic cisele crosshatch chromed finish. This pen however was made in more streamlined and simplified brushed matte finish. It is a simple classic pen with pure form factor and simple classic function. Bi-directional mid body twist on/off mechanism will deploy one of two different refills. Since the colors of the refills are not marked on the body, any two color refills (or same) can be installed. At checkout please specify which two out of blue, black, red or green refills you like the pen to be fitted with. The pen has a nice feel to it, it it not too heavy, rather it feel light and soft in the hand. The pen features the Montblanc star on the top as well as on the clip. The mechanism is precise and responsive on both slots. Great condition with minimal signs of use, no scratches or dings. A perfect classic everyday use Montblanc ballpoint pen.
