Launched in the early 1970s, and still in production today as Madison Second Series, Madison are some of the most elegant pens made by Caran D'ache, and some of the most recognizable pens in the world. Their recognizable trademark is the sword like shaped clip. The pen offered here is the original first series Madison ballpoint model. The pen is made out of brass alloy, and are fully from tip to clip thick 24k gold plated, it simply shines. There are also fine guilloche lines in full length of the pen's body. This ballpoint pen features a special twist top knob on/off mechanism, with a precise and effortless on/off action. It comes with its original Cd'A refill still writing and ready to be used. The serial number is located on the brass thread joint section. The pen is long, slim but also heavy, which gives it a perfect grip in the hand, balance and writing experience. The pen is in mint condition, no scratches or dings, but it bares are discretely engraved company insignia on the side. Timeless writing instrument, perfectly crafted, ones that gets the attention, but also a true workhorses for everyday use.
