Ergonomic and light shape, Pelikan Pelikano, line first produced in the early 1960's, first Pelikan pens with ink cartridges. This particular model was produced around 1979, and considered to be the 5th generation Pelikano model. The pen is in great condition with minimal signs of use. The Pelikano line is a perfect entrance pen in the fountain pen world. This was also targeted as kids and student pen, due to it rigidity, built quality and ease of use. The pen can take any ink cartridge and even some ink converters, so its always ready to be used. Its also very easy to clean and maintain. It features a clear light blue see through ink window. The nib is F/A grade, F stands for fine and A stands for entrance student model nib (hard to damage even if dropped and easy to write with. Its very friendly, easy accessible ink cartridge, extremely well build Pelikan for everyday use. The ink flow is constant and has no line variation, meant for precise work and fine letters. Good balance when posted due to the heavy steel cap, and also quite thick pen with a good feel and good grip section. A fountain pen for everyday use and a problem-free pen.
