Condition and information:
This is one of the last Pelikan pens that will bare the insignia "W. Germany", it was produced right before the fall of the Berlin Wall. This pen, and the M line was Pelikan ushering in a new era, much of the design had changed, and much of the conventional wisdom in engineering would change as well but always based on the best know-how and quality as only Pelikan can. The pen is superb in any way, perfect writer, perfect feel in the hand, grip and extremely well balanced. Beautiful ink window, huge ink tank and very ergonomic from and size. The highly processed materials gives it perfect shine and gloss, the thick gold plate will not ware off. The nib is steel with gold plate, F Fine size, (nearly EF) producing wonderful writing, great for long and demanding work on any paper.  The pen is in mint condition with minimal to no sighs of use, crisp imprints on the ring, nib and best of all, the golden logo inlay on to. One of the first and best M Pelikan pens.
