Made in the mid 1980's this pencil embodies everything Montblanc stands for, stunning timeless design and amazing performance. The design is based on the Masterpiece series, based on 146, 164 and other similar pens. The pencil is made out of Precious Black Resin which gives it a unique shine and gloss but also a scratch protection. It has a solid steel and brass mechanism, very heavy with a perfect grip, feel and balance in the hand. The pencil features a very precise twist on mechanism, where the user is meant to push on the clip sideways, with the thumbnail, while holding the lower part of the body. The lead size is perfect 0.7mm, not too thin and not too thick. Simply pull off the upper section to expose the black eraser, or unscrew the upper section to expose the refill reservoir. The pencil is in mint condition with minimal signs of use, and comes in a original Montblanc box. Serial number located on the clip. Signature Montblanc star located on top. A perfect Montblanc pencil with timeless design and amazing performance.
