The 1980s Noblesse Quickpen rollerball pen was made to match the original fountain pen line baring the same name. Noblesse Oblige pens are one of the most reliable and durable Montblanc pens ever build with the highest quality possible, a thick steel base, matte finished. Due to it's weight and size the pen feels good in the hand, solid and heavy. These were build to last, they are a true generational pens, made entirely out of steel, nearly impossible to damage even if dropped. The pen features the distinct Noblesse "click" sound when closing the cap and even when posting it on top, perfect fit cap on body. Montblanc stars logos are located on top and bottom. These are one of the biggest Montblanc pens at almost 140mm, slim and elongated. The pen uses what was then called a Quickpen rollerball refill, but also available today from new Montblanc roller ball refills. The pen is in mint condition with minimal signs of use. The name comes from French: Noblesse Oblige - "Nobility Obliges".
