Condition and information:
The original Targa model from 1981, the "1000". The pen was marketed by Sheaffer's as the Mirror or "Brilliant Chrome" as it has a glowing shine. This is why it is very difficult to capture on pictures as it reflects all light that falls on it, so nearly impossible to capture the true looks of the pen. The pen has a near mirror like surface. The pen has some unique feel and design, nearly cylindrical shape with a great feel in the had due to its weight, considering that the entire pen body and cap are made out of steel. When the cap is posted the pen becomes a true oversize pen at full 160mm, making it feel great in the hand. The nib is F fine, very smooth and constant writer with a slim fine line, great for any work any duration. This nib is almost impossible to damage, it is very stiff and the way its embedded in to the body, aside the appeal, this gives the nib much more rigidity. Very endurable and reliable Sheaffer pen, very simple to use and maintain, yet with a superior high build quality. The pen is in absolute mint condition, still with its model and nib size sticker, no scratches, dings or marks of any king. The pen can be used with any Sheaffer's converter but it can also be used with any Sheaffer standard cartridge, this makes the pen versatile and easy to use. The pen is NOS new old stock condition.
