Condition and information:
The pen offered here is the first of the 90's series Montblanc 144 Masterpiece (Meisterstuck) pen, with early production with 14K nib fitted on a original ebonite feeder. The ebonite provides far better ink flow then plastic. The pen is in absolute mint condition, originally preserved, no scratches, cracks or similar issues. The pen has a perfect balance, feel and writing experience, perfect for any task, this 144 is a perfectly balanced pen. This is the second production of the original first series 144 model 1949-1959, and these series was developed in late 80's. The pen is made out of the black resin, the signature material of Montblanc, perfectly shining but also very hard to scratch. One of the best materials to make pens from. The pen has a slip on cap for fast and easy deployment, with a "click" sound when opening and closing. All trimmings are thick gold filled, so no gold ware off can occur. The pen comes with its original piston converter but it can also take any standard size cartridges. Comes in its original Montblanc presentation box.
