This is the first Waterman Hemisphere series, made in the early 1990s. This pen was succeeded by the HII model, which is nearly identical in form factor but has larger trimmings, more similar to the Waterman Expert. These pens are great everyday Waterman pens, very easy to use, maintain and clean, trouble-free fountain pens meant to be used daily.
The pen features a modern design with traditional Waterman lines and the famous Waterman clip.
This version features a beautiful radially brushed solid stainless steel body and cap. This material gives the pen a great grip, weight but also does not leave hand oil; it feels smooth and nice in the hand. The pen comes with a stainless steel plated nib, M medium size nib; it is a constant precise writer with constant smooth ink-flow, no mess on the paper. The pen is ergonomically great, heavy with great grip, balance, and feel in the hand. The pen can use any standard international converter or cartridges, so it's easy to find supplies for and use daily from day one.
