It’s our pleasure to offer this truly amazing vintage Aurora Sole Limited Edition pen. The “Sole” Sun model is a reproduction of the 1930’s Aurora model, similar to the Aurora Internazionale pens to which this pen pays tribute. It is made out of quality marbled Auroloide, a material very similar in appearance and feel as celluloid, giving the pen a nice semi-transparent look when exposed to brighter light.
The pen has a beautiful yellow amber color which reminds us of the vintage amber pipes that used to have this unique feel to them. This rare pen features hand-finished trims and high-quality materials. It fits amazingly in the hand both posted or not, the nice thick section of the pen allows the user to have a firm grip.
The cap ring is decorated with a very fine guilloche and “Aurora'' imprint, adorned with a Greek Key pattern.
The sun engraved on the clip evokes the Mediterranean summers and golden sunsets. The limited edition number is hand engraved on the side of the cap’s crown, and it is No.1648, from a limited edition run of 7500 pieces, this is just another example of the great attention to details which make the Aurora pens so special.

It uses a piston filling mechanism with a substantial ink reservoir. The feed extrudes inside the piston chamber so there will always be a bit of ink inside the reservoir so the piston never dries out. It has a fully transparent ink window so the ink level will be always visible. The pen has a beautiful contrast between the amber resin, with a black resin section, a turning knob and captop.
This pen has a lavish solid 14K gold M size nib which doesn’t feel stiff while writing. The size of the nib and its massiveness is similar to the Montblanc 149 model. Usually, the Aurora Sole Limited edition model comes with an 18K nib so this one awakens our curiosity since its 14K. However, we are sure that the pen comes from the factory with this nib so maybe the 14K nibs were installed in earlier versions of the pen. The pen has a large ebonite feed which makes the ink flow better in comparison with other plastic feeds. It has a minor flex and if pressed gently while writing it could write bigger sizes like B. Definitely one of the most beautiful and best Aurora pens ever made.

The pen comes in mint condition never used, without a scratch.
