Condition and information:
Another example of the French approach to a fountain pen, no short on style, elegance and expression. This is the Original Diabolo model from early 2010s, which had come out in many many styles, from composite materials to solid and precious metal versions. This is only of the more elegant and simple ones, clearly a large men's pen with clear style, black & platinum. The design and appearance is only as a modern French company can execute timeless and elegant, yet made with some of the best materials possible. The Cartier calls it the Composite Noir, which we believe stands for Black Resin. All trimmings including the clip are thick platinum plated. To crown the pen, a beautiful transparent Cabochon Blue Gemstone  is placed on top. The pen is nicely balanced with or without the cap posted. The black resin is thick and reinforced with threaded section shaft. The nib is elegantly designed, 18K 750 white gold to match the overall theme, but it is a soft nib and even though lacking flexibility it does not feel stiff, unlike most modern nibs. It writes a nice constant line, the writing is effortless, it glides over the paper with very consistent and nice ink flow and it does not skip. Depending on the angle its held, the user can achieve some line variations. It uses Cartier cartridges and converter. We are including 2 original cartridges and its original converter. The pen is in pristine mint condition, with no signs of use, used only on several occasions and perfectly preserved. No scratches, dings, platinum ware off or any cosmetic or functional issues.
