Condition and information:
>Made in W. Germany in the late 50's, this is a very rare combo ballpoint and mechanical pencil pens made by the AWA company. The company was located at Hamburg, and made some astonishing pens in its few years of manufacturing. This pencil-pen is one of superior build quality meant to last for generations, solid steel chromed, perfectly functional and smooth mechanism, intricate guilloche patterns. Very thick pen, very heavy with great grip and ease of use. The pen features 3 slim short metal refills, blue, green and red, and one slot for 1.18mm lead refills. Unlike other similar multi-pens this pen does not include springs, instead of it has a unique locking mechanism which is a very simple and problem free mechanical action. The AWA company was operating only for about a decade until it was acquired by one of the larger pen manufactures in Germany. In this time they made some of the best writing instruments in the world, which are now highly sough after collectibles. This is simply indestructible pen, made to last and endure work for decades. The pen is in NOS never used condition, no scratches or dings. Comes in its original box and instructions, and original refills (to be used for refills purchase reference).
