The Parker Frontier launched in 1996, was one of Parker's more successful modern pens. It was made for nearly a decade and a half, rarely seen for a modern Parker. The pen featured here was first introduced in 1998, and this particular pen is one of those first pens, marked E. which stands for last quarter of 1998. The pen features the Stainless Steel radially brushed body and cap, also called the Flighter GT model, complemented by its 23K gold plated trimmings. The pen grip section is a nice matt soft to the feel plastic section, which provides good grip and does not tire the fingers. It is superbly build pen, feels solid but light in the hand. Comes with its original Parker bladder converter also made in USA, but it can be used with a standard Parker cartridges. The nib is F to M (rated Medium), non-scratchy and smooth, with a constant nice line without skipping. Perfect everyday workhorse pen by Parker.
