One of the best Kaweco pens made to use cartridges. These pens were made to rival Montblanc Monte Rosa pens and Pelikan Pelikano pens. High quality pen, made for any demanding work. This is one of the most reliable Kaweco pens, meant to be used regularly, its very easy to fill with any cartridge, or even a piston converter, and very easy to clean and maintain, easy to disassemble. The pen is a rare VP8S model in a beautiful light blue color. Here is how to decipher Kaweco model numbers: "V" stands for hooded nib (the nib is partially enclosed in the front section for protection), "P" stands for cartridge pen, "S" stands for steel cap and the model is No.8. The pen has great grip, handling, balance and feel in the hand. The pen is NOS never used condition, with it's original price sticker of "8.5 DM" Deutsche Marks. The nib is one of the most rare, KM standing for "Kugel Medium" where "Kugel" in German means "Ball". It is made out of thick steel and it's gold plated. The Kugel nib is special as it has ball shaped tip, so it can write on variety of angles. This allows for a fast use as there is no need to look down and adjust the angle, meant for fast writing while enduring stress and high pressure, and with very unique, even and uninterrupted ink-flow and line. This pen also features a very unique magnifying ink windows, located the very top of the pen. Amazing pen, great build quality and superb writing experience. .
