Condition and information:
Offered here are the famous pens by Montblanc, the Ramses II series. PLEASE NOTE: These are heavily used pens and are sold as is. These pens, as all Ramses II pens were originally gold plated, so-called Vermeil style where gold is applied over the silver. On the pens offered here, the gold is almost entirely worn off. Also, the pens have fainted but still visible imprints/stamps on the body rings. Aside from the mentioned cosmetic issues, the pens are in full working and reliable order, and have no dings, scratches or any other issues. These pens were intentionally striped off the gold, so the sliver can come out to the surface. The pens can be gold plated by a professional jeweler and bring them to their original state with little cost. The Ramses II pens are one of the most sought after Montblanc pens with amazing build quality and appeal. Both pens are made out of thick, heavy solid 925 silver with a beautiful blue lapis lazuli enamel filled upper bodies. 925 stamp located on both bodies. Both pens have a faint inscription on the rings "Montblanc Meisterstuck". The pens are very heavy and thus have a great balance and feel in the hand.  Perfectly functional mechanisms. Both the ballpoint and the mechanical pencil are twist on/of mechanism with precise lead and refill deployment. The current market value of Ramses II set is approximately $2000.
