One of the most unique Montblanc pens from the 1960's era, offered here in NOS new old stock condition, never used still with sticker nib size on the body. The quality is unique, materials are best there are. This highly processed brushed plastic unlike other plastics, simply does not crack and its very hard to ding or scratch, so dropping the pen does not damage it what so ever. Deeply brushed, classic form factor, with good balance, meant to last for generations. Unlike other models, this 220 features a brushed grip section as well, this provides a very good anti-slip grip surface.

The pen features a a precise fit on cap with a very sharp "click" sound the closing the cap and the gray ink window. The posting of the cap gives it a very very good writing balance. The nib is very large, solid 14K 585 gold, with unique large oblique tip, rated OB, oblique broad, simply a perfect writer. This nib will produce amazing writing, from thick to thin lines on each letter, something professional calligraphers like to use. The line variation is simply achieved by writing, as the direction to which the nib moves, changes the thickness of the line. However one can also make a slight changes of the angle of which the pen is held, and this will produce even larger line variation. This is a perfect pen for writing invitations, or anything that needs to look super special, simply amazing writing is achieved with this OB Montblanc nib. Piston is very smooth, perfect silicone cork, and a double rubber seal on the turning knob. Takes a considerable amount of ink. The white star is located on the cap and top of the turning knob.
