Condition and information:
One of the most famous Pelikan pens, the MK10. This was one of the first pens to be leak proof in variable pressure environments, such as high altitude and airplanes. The front section has quite elaborate feeding system as well as the sealing cap which prevented ink leaks of any sort. These are one of the most reliable and elegant Pelikan pens ever made. Extremely well build, meant to last and endure hard work for decades. The gold plated steel nib will never bend in accidental drops, or rust; it is stiff, very good for long or precise work. The nib is perfect for notebook writing, where small precise typeface is needed, no excess ink as the pen writes constant EF extra fine line. This is a pen for everyday use that does not require special maintenance and will always work reliably. Clear see through purple ink window and smooth piston; one of the best piston systems invented by Pelikan, consisting of 8 parts, with a silicone cork which never leaks. Logo located on top of the cap. The front section and cap are made out of black resin, this material always shines and its also scratch protective. The pen has a great from factor, design which still looks modern decades after it was made. Slip on cap for fast deployment and ease of use. One of the greatest everyday workhorse Pelikan fountain pens. The pen is in NOS, new old stock condition, never used still with its original nib sticker and comes in its original carton box and instructions.
