"Parker intended to start the new millennium with a revitalization of the company. They remade the logo and also took a closer look at the current models. One of the new models to come out in 2001 was the Parker Inflection. The Inflection had a gold plated stainless steel nib and was offered in the following finishes: Black, Sunny red, Radiant yellow, Tranquil blue, Flighter (stainless steel) GPT. The Inflection was offered as a fountain pen for around $90. It had a stainless steel 23k gold plated nib with a rounded lip covering the nib, very similar to the Parker 95. Also offered was a ball pen for around $55, a rollerball for $65, and a pencil that sold for around $55. The Inflection was discontinued in 2004 and was replaced by the Latitude." The pen offered here is the last of this series, the Stainless Steel radially brushed Flighter model. It is a superbly build pen, and these series were made in the UK's Parker plant. Feels solid and but light in the hand, with good grip and thickness. Comes with its original Parker piston converter but it can be used with standard Parker cartridges. The nib is F to M - fine to medium size, non-scratchy and smooth, with a constant nice line without skipping. Trimmings are gold plated. Perfect everyday workhorse pen by Parker.
