The Carene Essential is a large pen and its substantial weight and sturdy steel base construction provide for its perfect balance. It feels super nice in the hand, the deep Wave texture gives a pleasant feel to the touch and provides a nearly perfect soft grip. The pen features a very smooth and precise twist on/off mechanism which is very easy to use. It has a spring-loaded clip which instead of bending it retracts when being pulled which means it won't get damaged and it can be easily put over any thick fabric of a jacket or a notebook cover and the pen can be taken everywhere you are. 

It uses standard Waterman ballpoint refills and a new original one in black or blue color will be included with the pen. The pen will provide you with the perfect writing experience as it simply glides on any paper. 
The set comes together with a nice matching notepad as it was sold. These kind of gift sets are a true rarity as they were available several years ago only.
