Listed here is the Parker Jotter which is Parker Company's second best selling retractable ballpoint pen right after the Hopalong Cassidy ballpoint. This pen earned this attribute with its affordable price, great built quality and stylish looks. The pen has changed its looks throughout the years mainly because of the reforms and change of the logo that the company has been through, but kept its place in the manufacturing process for many years due to the popularity it has among the lovers of a good classical ballpoint pen. We rearly get our hands on a such a vintage pen which has stayed in its original box unpacked for nearly 20 years.

The pen is crafted in standard metal upper body as the earlier editions of the model were, but the lower half is made of high grade plastic in attractive red color. It features a chrome trimmed clip shaped in the distinctive Parker arrow. This pen has a precise push button mechanism and the metal button features a lot of resistance when being pushed and produces a satisfying click sound. The midsection of the pen features a nice engraving with the Parker branding name.

The pen is fitted with a Parker ballpoint refill which is easy to change and readily available since the size matches the one of the standard international G2 size refills. The pen is a great writing instrument creating bold and clear blue lines when writing. It’s balanced simple form contributes for a good grip and great feel in the hand. The pen is suitable for everyday writing sessions and it is a true workhorse pen that will last for generations.
