Listed here is a beautiful fountain pen by the Japanese writing instruments manufacturer Skater. The Skater pens are a real rarity nowadays since they are vintage pens which are out of production for many years.
Pens made in Japan are characterized by their stylish designs and beauty and the pen offered here is no exception. The pen is made with deep lines spanning across the cap and the barrel, giving it a good texture and amazing reflections. The blind cap is crafted in black high-grade plastic which together with the silver tones create an elegant pen.

Very precise cap on body fit, with a deep cap pull and a perfectly clean "click" sound when closing. The cap can be posted in order to give the pen a longer length and stability while writing, and the posting of the cap is one of the best we have seen since the front section is similar in shape to the grip section. Its compact physique makes it a great pen for traveling and you can use it every day everywhere you are fitting in any pocket of a jacket. This is a great feature because you get to have a pen that is suitable to be carried around and can fit almost anywhere, but at the same time when the cap is posted, it gives the pen a full length of an average fountain pen.

The pen is fitted with a smooth EF extra fine-sized nib made out of steel. It is a smooth writer with a constant ink flow producing nice wet lines. Due to its flexibility, it will produce line width variations with gentle pressure while writing. The pen is smartly engineered with a good grip and feel in the hand.
The pen uses a special integrated aerometric converter which is very convenient and easy to use since the only thing you need to do to fill the pen is to press the ribbed bar of the converter and the pen will start filling up.
