This is the famous Pelikan Pencil, the sibling to the Pelikan Colani Pen, designed by Luigi Colani pen, No.1, the first Pelikan pen commissioned to be designed by a famous designer. Wikipedia has this to say about Mr. Colani: "The prime characteristic of his designs are the rounded, organic forms, which he terms "bio-dynamic" and claims are ergonomically superior to traditional designs." Mr. Colani designed number of cars and other everyday objects. He is considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century, designing BMW's, Ferrari's and many other objects. The pencil has ergonomically curved shape that fits perfectly in to the hand. This particular pencil is all white with crisps imprints and stunning looks. The pencil comes in its original cigar shaped box/tube, which is compact and portable, meant to bring along in a pocket. The box button has the exact texture as the push button on the pencil. It has a triangular shaped lower body, this makes the pen stand upright when placed on the table. The mechanism is very nice to use, very precise and responsive. The pen is in absolute NEW never used condition, a 30 years old time capsule.
