During the 70s and the 80s the Parker 75 model was an unmatched bestseller pen. The Parker company decided that they needed a new model that would have an even greater success in the 90s. Having that in mind they commissioned Hollington Associates from London and the chief designer Geoff Hollington designed the Insignia and Sonnet lines for them.
The Sonnet line was marketed as a line with precision-crafted, high-performance writing instruments based on an ergonomic design. Pen here is a newer addition to the line and has a justified place in this collection with it’s beautiful design, good quality materials and great performance built to last.
The clip is shaped in the recognizable Parker Company amblem, the arrow.
The pen is crafted in shiny thick lacquer with gold plated trimmings which combined together contribute to an elegant yet sturdy pen. It follows a classic, simple yet powerful form.

The pen features a wide midsection band with nice crisp engravings which read “Parker Sonnet”, “France Q” and “P over W” which is Parker’s makers mark where P stands for Parker and W stands for Waterman because the Parker and Waterman company are brands under N.Rubbermaid since 2000.
The pen uses a seamless twist on/off mid-body mechanism which is precise with a solid lock.

The pen uses Parker ballpoint refill and the original one is included in blue color. The pen is heavy, and due to its cigar shaped body it is well balanced and feels great while writing. Perfect everyday Parker writing instrument for long writing sessions with no worries.

The pen is in mint condition with minimal to no signs of use.
