One of the best pen lines made by Pelikan, the next level up from the MK and PK lines, the Silvexa, made in the late 1960's and 1970's. The Silvexa pens are renowned for their reliability and build quality. The Silvexa line together with the rolled gold lines were the high-end pens of all M, MK and P series Pelikan pens, which were launched in the early 60's as a new modern, space era inspired pens.
The pens are a remarkable example of the 1970s pen design, features and reliability.
The body of the pens is made of shiny, high quality black resin, difficult to scratch or damage, and shiny chromed metal parts.

The logo of the company is inlaid on the top of the ballpoint pen covered with see-through enamel. The caps of the pens have a beautiful guilloche design and feature nice crisp engravings that read “Pelikan 20”, “Silvexa” and “Germany”.

The fountain pen features a large solid 14K 585 gold nib in fine size which is very precise and smooth on the paper, but with some decent flexibility which was rare for this type of nibs. The nib produces an exact fine F line when used normally, but with a gentle push it will start to write wider, medium or even broad. The pen has a constant and smooth ink flow, not skipping providing for a wonderful writing experience.
The pen looks delightfully with the transparent blue ink window. With these ink windows, you will always know when your ink is running low.
It uses Pelikan cartridges and we include two when you purchase the pen. It can also be used with a converter for users who want to fill their pen from an ink bottle.

The ballpoint pen uses a Pelikan ballpoint refill and the original one is included with the pen, when depleted it can be used for future purchase reference.
The pen features an upper body push mechanism which is very easy to use. Very solid heavy pen with great balance and feel in the hand.
