Vintage pencil by Montblanc, with a rare model number 26. These models were the start of the new era pens in the early 60s, modern, elongated, with sharp edges, more reliable and with focus on functionality. Made out of Precious Black Resin, the signature Montblanc material is a specially tempered plastic which gives the pen a unique shine and gloss but also a protection, as this material is hard to scratch or damage, very shiny and highly reflective. The pencil has a solid steel and brass mechanism, very heavy with a perfect grip, feel and balance in the hand, very precise push button repeater mechanism. These pencils are still some of the best in the world, still the preferred choice of artists and engineers, very reliable everyday writing instruments with amazing build quality. The lead is 1.18mm size, widely available. With such thick lead sticks the lead can be deployed 3-5mm in front of the tip and this will provide a great viewing space and precision. Montblanc star located on top of the button. The pencil comes with leads, ready to be used. The pencil is in mint condition with minimal signs of use. Made more than 50 years ago, this pencil still looks modern, with amazing design, form factor, ergonomics and ease of use. Simply stunning timeless writing instrument.
