Condition and information:
One of the most beautiful and one of the most reliable vintage Reform pens. These are one of the best pens manufactured by Reform all time. The pen offered here comes in one of the more rarely seen colors, a lovely olive green, with that beautiful vintage appeal, rarely seen in today's pens. The pen is extremely refined on a proven design and manufacturing technique; it features a high gloss plastic resin body and cap with gold plated metal parts and a stunning 14K 585 F Fine size with full flexibility. In such a nib the tines of the nib split apart as soon as it touches the paper, with no pressure. What this nib does is remarkable; it changes thickness of the lines with the little to no pressure while writing on every stroke and every letter. This nib writing is unique, as from an F grade varies to medium lines to very wide lines up to triple broad 3B, mimicking almost all nib sizes. The design and shape of the pen follows the 60s style, a very similar pen to Montblanc Monte Rosa pens, Senator and other pens, clearly distinguishable by the form, ink windows, nib and feed. This pen is in absolute mint condition, with minimal signs of use. Piston is smooth with a double seal silicone cork which always makes for a perfect fit within the body and will never leak. Original ebonite feed ensures a constant and smooth ink-flow. The pen is elongated, streamlined, fits great in the hand and has a perfect writing balance. It is very easy to clean and maintain; easily removable nib unit with a simple unscrew action. A truly astonishing vintage Reform fountain pen, made in Germany by one of the most famous brand at the time.
