Inoxcrom is one of Spain's most famous pen manufacturers, and at one time one of the largest pen manufacturers in Europe. Founded in 1953, this company grown under the leadership of its founder to make some amazing fountain pens, especially cherished in Spain where they held nearly all of the pen market. The company unfortunately did not survive after the death of its founder in 2003, after numerous attempts to restart it or sell the brand, the company ceased to exist in 2009.

The set offered here is a true rarity, especially found in such a NOS time capsule condition, never used, in its original box with papers, stickers and even the original spare cartridge offered as a substitute to the bladder converter. This pen was a flagship Inoxcrom model at the time, baring the model number 88. The pen paid homage and followed the model nomencrature to the first Inoxcrom pen made in the 1955, model 55. The design and features are obvious, they drew inspiration from two other famous pens at the time, the Sheaffer's with front section embedded nibs and the overall design and function of the Parker 45, which is nearly identical with this pen in form factor, as well as its filling bladder. In a way this pen is the best of those two pens. The pen has a very nice, precise solid 14K gold nib, very smooth and clean writing nib. The caps are thick gold plated, and give the pen a superb balance when posted. The precise slip-on cap is convenient for ease of use and for fast deployment, no tread, always ready to use in seconds. The ballpoint pen is also high quality with a nice and precise push "upper body" mechanism, and it comes with its original refill. Timeless design, superior build quality and a ture legacy form once the largest pen manufacturer in Spain.
