This is a rare pencil made only for a short time, to compliment the 1970s Namiki fountain pen line by Pilot. The pencil is called simply "Custom 0.5 Sterling Silver". As the name implies it is entirely made out of thick sterling silver. It feels solid and heavy, the knurled body gives is a very nice grip and feel in the hand. The weight of the pencil is notable. As vintage Pilots pens were built, with superior build quality and superbly balanced while writing. The crosshatch pattern is deep, nearly identical to the Parker Cisele pencils, with a black inline in-between the squares. The push knob mechanism is solid and precise, very smooth with a new unused eraser under it. The pencil is in mint condition, with minimal to no sighs of use.
