This pen is made by the famous Pineider Italian luxury goods and accessories company, specializing for fashion leather products, writing instruments and paper notebooks. The company was founded in 1774 by Mr. Pineider, and only their best products bare the "1774" insignia. This is truly astonishing pen, and may be one of the best rollerball pen ever made. The design is the culmination of perfection in simplicity, a true philosophy to the "form follows function" design, only as an Italians can make. The pen is a streamlined torpedo shape, and has an amazingly good feel in the hand and balance to it. It is seriously oversize, this may be the main reason for such great handling, at almost 150mm and 166m posted. The pen has a unique, deep grey color, difficult to capture on the picture, nearly 90% black, but with settle bit of grey. The plastic is thick, sturdy and crack proof. The middle section, the tip and clip are made out of solid steel, with 925 imprints. The silver gives the pen additional weight. It features a precise tread on cap, easy to open and post. Very very elegant pen. The pen is in absolute NOS, new old stock condition. It comes with its original refill, plus a new Crown ceramic refill.
