Stunning and rare Waterman EXPERT II pen made in France with a Lapis Lazuli blue marble lacquer finish. This is a pen from the first production of Expert II. There are few variations of this model but these is probably the rarest and most beautiful of them all. The pen is stunning, extremely high shine, very beautiful appeal with marble lapis lazuli blue color. The pen is almost oversize even closed at 143mm and 155mm when posted. It feels heavy, firmly fitting in the hand, and the weight makes it slide over the paper effortlessly. This is due to a very thick steel/brass walls of the pen, which means this pen was made to last. The Expert II is truly engineered pen with superb writing balance and grip. It has a slip-on cap for fast and easy deployment, with a distinct click when closing or posting the cap. All trimmings are thick gold plated; clip, rings, front and rear tip of the pen, and give luxury appeal. The lacquer finish is also very thick, which protects the pen from scratches. It can use standard or double size Waterman cartridges (a set is included with the pen) or it can be used with a converter.
