Offered here is a rare Breitling Limited Edition Tiger’s Eye tortoise amber shell ballpoint pen. An extraordinary pen released in very limited numbers and has never been made widely available. It is produced by one of the finest Swiss watch makers of all time - Breitling, a Swiss company based in Grenchen, Switzerland, founded in 1884. This pen is one of the most unique Breitling’s pen ever produced. The pen is high build quality, oversize, very heavy, approximately 50g. It's made out deep amber resin, with tortoise shell stripes, and the cap is made out of very thick stainless steel finished with chrome overlay. The pen of such size and weight its sure to leave an impression, its impossible to ignore, evening opening it and placing it on a table is an event in its own. The pen is so heavy one can use it without posting the cap. Its weight gives the perfect balance while writing. The cap is pull-off, fast and easy to deploy. The front section of the pen is shaped like the nib of a fountain pen, and the top of the barrel resembles an airplane propeller center cap. This is a very easy pen to use and write with, and it writes majestically. It can also be fitted with any standard international ginat refill, or even a same size rollerball refill. The pen comes in its original plexiglass storage presentation box. An extraordinary writing instrument produced in limited numbers. On the last couple of pictures, the pen is placed next to Lamy 2000 for size comparison. The pen is in absolute mint condition.
