Condition and information:
There are two kinds of trim of M200, depending on the year of release. In 1997 Pelikan restyled their trim levels resulting in pre-’97 and post-’97 trim variations. First group are distinguished by a derby cap top and absence of a trim ring on the turning knob. The second group pens have a crown cap top, where the company logo is imprinted, and gold trim ring at the piston knob, and a single cap band. The M200 Pelikan pen is one of the most reliable pens made by Pelikan, it embodies all of the know-how of the best Pelikan pens. The main line of the M200 featured a gold plated nib, making it more affordable, however sometimes Pelikan placed solid 14K gold nibs on this model, such as on this pen. This was done for the flagship pens, or special editions pens. The pen is made out of back resin as most high-end pens, and many parts on these pens are also made by hand. The pen is superb in any way, perfect writer, perfect feel in the hand, grip and extremely well balanced. The highly processed resin gives the pen a perfect shine and gloss but also a considerable cracks and scratches protection as the resin is much more difficult to damage then plastic. The pen also features a thick gold plated trimmings that will not ware off. The nib the best feature, fully flexible, it will write all bigger sizes depending on the pressure applied while writing. The nib can be easily removed and switched with another nib for various nib sizes, these nibs are widely available. The pen is in mint condition, near NOS "new old stock" never used condition. Crisp imprints on the ring, nib and best of all, the golden logo inlay on top. Perfect everyday Pelikan pen.

    I normally do not have time for reviews. But this time when i put an image of this pen and its writing there has been disbelief about this Pelikan M200 with a FLEX nib. Some self proclaimed experts think there never was and never will be M200 with a flex nib Pen. well there is original from the manufacturer and still available on other websites and easily can be made with original pelikan parts. That's aside.
    This pen is marvellous,best value for money. Excellent service from Uber pens. I am a returning customer to them and have bought another vintage from them. More about it later
