For the Montblanc Noblesse collectors, here's a special very early model of the Noblesse Slim Line, also called the CS standing for Color Slim, which was launched in 1981 and produced for only a few years. The blacks and reds were more common, and this is the rarely seen, dark navy blue color.
 
This is considered the second gen. Noblesse, as the first one, was produced only for a couple of years as an experiment testing the market, from 1979 till 1980. The name comes from French: Noblesse Oblige - "Nobility Obliges".
 
The Noblesse pens are some of the most reliable Montblanc pens ever built, easy to use and handle with great feel and balance in the hand due to the weight. This Montblanc Noblesse Oblige pen is made out of thick, high-grade steel base and matte finished with a thick soft to the couch paint finish. It feels soft and smooth in the hand and it does not slip or tire the hand. The Montblanc star logos are located on top of the knob and the tip of the clip. These are well built, difficult to damage even when dropped, they are considered true generational pens, meant to last.
 
The pen makes the distinct "click" sound when pushing the knob on and off. These are one of the biggest Montblanc pens at almost 140mm, slim and elongated, hence the name Slim Line. The pen can take any standard giant Montblanc refill, but these are out of production, however we will include a new adapted refill which will make the pen perfectly usable and functional.
 
The pen is in great condition, some minor surface scuffs, but not scratches or dings. It bears a company promo engraving on the clip, Nord / LB.
