Condition & information:

Geha was a well-known pen manufacturer in Hanover which produced quality school fountain pens from the 1950s until 1991. In 1991 the renowned and one of the best German companies, Pelikan took over the Geha company and continued with the production of their brand.
The Geha pens, as all pens produced by German pen manufacturers, are of amazing build quality which is simply tangible.
The pencil represents the perfect combination of high-quality materials and superb build quality designed to last for generations.
It is crafted in highly processed black plastic resin and rolled gold trims, these high-quality materials are a sign of the lengths the Pelikan company went in order to create the perfect writing instruments which is a commitment that is rare to see these days.
The black resin physically protects the pencil since it is more resistant to cracking and scratching and it gives it a nice shine. The rolled gold details are very thick and rolled gold doesn’t have the tendency to wear off as easily as a gold plate does.
The upper body band features nice crisp inscriptions that read “Geha”, “Made in Germany” and “Rolled Gold”.

The pencil uses an upper-body push mechanism which is very responsive, smooth and easy to use. It uses 1.18 leads, and it has a precision push-button solid brass mechanism. Several leads are included with the pencil. With such thick lead refills the refill can be deployed 3-5mm out from the tip, which contributes to great precision, prevents breakage of the leads and offers a clear page view.
The good build quality of the pencil and the tough mechanical brass components contribute for its substantial weight and perfect balance.
This pencil is a great choice for your everyday drafting and drawing sessions producing precise lines. The pencil is shaped ergonomically providing for a comfortable and easy grip contributing for tireless feel in the hand which makes it perfect for long periods of writing or drawing without hand fatigue.

The pencil is in near mint condition, perfectly operational with no cracks or damages which is a real rarity for a pencil that is more than 60 years old.
