The Sheaffer Legacy II ballpoint pen is a blend of both classic look and modern functionality. The black lacquered barrel adds a nice contrast to the mirror-like palladium cap and the 22K gold plated trimmings. The lacquer is thick and besides giving the pen a shiny look and it potects it from scrathes.
The pen follows an elegant form with a quadrangular blunt shape at the top and a wider barrel for extra comfort.
The pen features a very practical and flexible spring loaded clip which retracts into the cap instead of bending when being opened, this function prevents the clip from banding or breaking when put on a thicker coat fabric or notebook cover. The clip is decorated with micro inscriptions that read “Sheaffer” and “USA” on each side, and the recognizable Shaffer's white dot on the front upper part. The central band, the clip and the tip of the pen are crafted in a matching gold plated finish.

The pen is retractable and it features a smooth mid body twist on/off mechanism.
The barrel feels fairly solid and heavy which contributes for the perfect weight, and balance of the pen. The pen fits perfectly in the hand contributing for comfortable long writing sessions.
The pen is a good writer providing for smooth flowy writing experience. It uses Sheaffer refills and it comes with an original one in blue color that is still writing.

It comes in mint condition with minimal to no signs of use, ready to be used.
